Kristy McDonald (Winnipeg, MB) won 9-4 over Kerri Einarson (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the Granite Ladies Cash Spiel, held January 8 - 11, 2015 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. To advance to the championship game, McDonald won 6-4 over Jill Thurston (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2015 Granite Ladies Cash Spiel in Winnipeg, Manitoba; and won 7-4 over Michelle Englot (Regina, SK) in the quarterfinals. of the 2015 Granite Ladies Cash Spiel in Winnipeg, Manitoba;

McDonald finished 2-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McDonald lost 7-2 to Janet Harvey (Winnipeg, MB), then responded with a 7-4 win over Joelle Brown (Winnipeg, MB). McDonald won 9-1 against Jennifer Clark-Rouire (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Granite Ladies Cash Spiel Championship title, McDonald earned 9.500 world rankings points along with the $1,500CDN first prize cheque. McDonald move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of 7.55 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 13th overall with 111.003 total points on the World Ranking Standings. McDonald ranks 12th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 77.305 points earned so far this season.
