Sijia Liu (Harbin, CHN) finished 5-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Liu defeated Nina Roth (Blaine, USA) 5-3, then went on to lose 6-4 against Ayumi Ogasawara (Sapporo, JPN). Liu responded with a 7-6 win over Chelsea Farley (Naseby, NZ). Liu won 7-6 against Roth, then won 6-4 against Ogasawara and 6-5 against Farley in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Curling Night in America Championship title, Liu earned 1.950 world rankings points, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 40th place overall with 32.818 total points. Liu ranks 29th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 23.210 points earned so far this season.
