Patti Knezevic (Prince George, BC) finished 4-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Knezevic lost 8-2 to Kelly Shimizu (Richmond, BC), then responded with a 13-4 win over Amy Gibson (Vancouver, BC). Knezevic won 9-6 against Kesa Van Osch (Nanaimo, BC), then won 12-0 against Shimizu. Knezevic went on to lose 8-7 against Amanda Russett (Kamloops, BC). Knezevic responded with a 7-5 win over Gibson in their final qualifying round match.

Knezevic earned 1.250 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the BC Scotties Open Event #1, moving up 16 spots the World Ranking Standings into 115th place overall with 5.000 total points. Knezevic ranks 135th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 1.250 points earned so far this season.
