Brown responded with a 10-4 win over Terry Ursel (Arden, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the MB Scotties Berth Bonspiel, Brown take home 1.750 world rankings points, moving up 7 spots the World Ranking Standings into 88th place overall with 8.720 total points.
