Sanna Puustinen (Hyvinkaa, FIN) finished 5-4 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Puustinen defeated Binia Feltscher (Flims, SUI) 7-5, then won 9-6 against Linda Klimova (Prague, CZE) and 10-6 against Iveta Stasa-Sarsune (Riga, LAT). Puustinen won 8-2 against Maile Molder (Tallinn, EST). Puustinen went on to lose 7-4 against Anna Hasselborg (Stockholm, SWE). Puustinen lost 8-2 to Lene Nielsen (Hvidovre, DEN). Puustinen lost 12-3 to Anna Sidorova (Moscow, RUS) where Puustinen responded with a 5-4 win over Andrea Schoepp (Garmisch, GER). Puustinen went on to lose 7-6 against Eve Muirhead (Stirling, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

Puustinen earned 10.000 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 14 of the event schedule, Puustinen did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Puustinen ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
