In their opening game, van Dorp defeated Alen Cadez (Zagreb, CRO) 8-3, then went on to lose 7-5 against Alan Macdougall (Kent, ENG). van Dorp responded with a 7-5 win over Israel's Adam Freilich. van Dorp won 6-4 against Harri Lill (Tallinn, EST), then won 12-3 against Mantas Kulakauskas (Vilnius, LTU) and 1-0 against France's Default. van Dorp won 7-6 against Alican Karatas (Eruzum, TUR) in their final qualifying round match.
