Kolomaya won 6-3 against Scott Jones (Moncton, NB), then won 10-3 against Bob Smallwood (Whitehorse, YK) and 7-3 against Wes Craig (Mill Bay, BC). Kolomaya won 6-3 against Brent MacDougall (Halifax, NS). Kolomaya went on to lose 5-3 against Colin Koivula (Thunder Bay, NONT). Kolomaya lost 6-4 to Chris Gardner (Ottawa, ON). Kolomaya lost 8-5 to Max Kirkpatrick (Swift Current, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
