Ogasawara lost 7-4 to Sijia Liu (Harbin, CHN) where Ogasawara responded with a 8-6 win over Chelsea Farley (Naseby, NZ). Ogasawara won 9-3 against Australia's Kim Forge. Ogasawara went on to lose 7-4 against Kim. Ogasawara responded with a 7-4 win over Liu. Ogasawara won 7-4 against Farley in their final qualifying round match.

Ogasawara earned 7.500 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Pacific-Asia Curling Championships, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 19th place overall with 65.726 total points. Ogasawara ranks 13th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 46.450 points earned so far this season.
