In their opening game, Dunstone defeated Matthew MacLean (Charlottetown , PEI) 10-2, then won 6-3 against Tanner Horgan (Sudbury, ON) and 7-3 against Switzerland's Yannick Schwaller. Dunstone won 5-2 against Matthew Manual (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.
