Watling finished 4-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Watling defeated Meghan Armit (Winnipeg, MB) 7-3, then went on to lose 6-5 against Clark-Rouire. Watling responded with a 7-5 win over Jackie Komyshyn (Winnipeg, MB). Watling won 8-2 against Kim Link (Winnipeg, MB). Watling went on to lose 5-4 against Manitoba's Kaileigh Strath. Watling responded with a 6-2 win over Armit in their final qualifying round match.

Watling earned 1.250 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the LaSalle Credit Union Classic, moving up 200 spots the World Ranking Standings into 166th place overall with 1.250 total points. Watling ranks 91st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 1.250 points earned so far this season.
