Fitzner-Leblanc finished 2-2 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fitzner-Leblanc lost 7-3 to Paul Dexter (Halifax, NS), then responded with a 7-5 win over Brent MacDougall (Halifax, NS).
