To advance to the championship game, Sullivan won 4-3 over Brent MacDougall (Halifax, NS) in the semifinals of the 2014 Alexander Keith's Men's Cashspiel in Halifax, Nova Scotia; and won 7-4 over Jamie Danbrook (Halifax , NS) in the quarterfinals. of the 2014 Alexander Keith's Men's Cashspiel in Halifax, Nova Scotia;

Sullivan finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sullivan defeated Peter Burgess (Halifax, NS) 7-4, then won 9-2 against Richard Barker (Halifax, NS). Sullivan went on to lose 5-4 against John Luckhurst (Halifax, NS). Sullivan responded with a 9-4 win over Kevin Saccary (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Alexander Keith's Men's Cashspiel, Sullivan take home 1.750 world rankings points along with the $1,200CDN prize, moving up 18 spots the World Ranking Standings into 157th place overall with 4.572 total points. Sullivan ranks 73rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 2.500 points earned so far this season.
