Richard Muntain (Pinawa, MB) qualified for the 2014 Nott Autocorp Thanksgiving Charity Open playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-5 against Steve Irwin (Brandon, MB).

Muntain finished 4-2 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Muntain lost 7-3 to Kevin Brown (Winnipeg, MB), droppimg another game, 6-3 to Justin Stanus (Winnipeg, MB) where Muntain responded with a 5-2 win over Kyle Foster (Winnipeg, MB). Muntain won 5-3 against Jordan Smith (Winnipeg, MB), then won 8-3 against Ray Baker (Dauphin, MB) and 5-2 against Jared Kolomaya (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

Muntain earned 1.275 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Nott Autocorp Thanksgiving Charity Open, moving up 17 spots the World Ranking Standings into 124th place overall with 6.575 total points.
