Edin finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Edin defeated Balderston 6-4, then won 6-4 against Jialiang Zang (Harbin, CHN) and 5-2 against Jeff Stoughton (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Pomeroy Inn & Suites Prairie Showdown, Edin take home 12.600 world rankings points along with the $9,000CDN prize, remaining in 9th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 8.6 after improving upon their best so far this season.
