Casey finished 3-2 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Casey defeated Korey Dropkin (Blaine, USA) 7-1, then went on to lose 7-3 against Mick Lizmore (Edmonton, AB). Casey responded with a 7-5 win over Jialiang Zang (Harbin, CHN). Casey went on to lose 8-0 against Paul Pustovar (Hibbing, MN). Casey responded with a 8-1 win over John Epping (Toronto, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
Casey earned 8.850 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the U.S. Open of Curling. Casey move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of 8.1 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 18th overall with 113.366 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Casey ranks 12th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 77.030 points earned so far this season.
