To advance to the championship game, Ferris won 7-5 over Jialiang Zang (Harbin, CHN) in the semifinals of the 2014 Ingersoll Clash in Ingersoll, Ontario, Canada; and won 4-2 over Travis Fanset (Tillsonburg, ON) in the quarterfinals. of the 2014 Ingersoll Clash in Ingersoll, Ontario, Canada;
 
Ferris finished 2-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ferris defeated Ontario's Scott McDonald 6-5, then won 6-3 against Ontario's Travis Belchior. Ferris went on to lose 8-5 against Ontario's Rayad Husain in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Ingersoll Clash Championship title, Ferris earned 5.750 world rankings points along with the $1,950CDN first prize cheque, moving up 11 spots the World Ranking Standings into 62nd place overall with 17.926 total points. Ferris ranks 34th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 5.750 points earned so far this season.
