Birt went on to lose 5-3 against Sylvie Robichaud (Moncton, NB). Birt responded with a 8-0 win over Sarah Rhyno (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.

Birt earned 0.750 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Curl Atlantic Championship, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 58th place overall with 11.850 total points. Birt ranks 21st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 0.750 points earned so far this season.
