Mark Dacey (Halifax, NS) run at the 2014 Curl Atlantic Championship came to an end in the semifinals with a 9-8 loss to Chad Stevens (Halifax, NS). of the 2014 Curl Atlantic Championship in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island;

Dacey finished 3-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dacey lost 6-4 to Alan O'Leary (Halifax, NS), then responded with a 7-3 win over Andy McCann (Fredericton, NB). Dacey won 7-5 against Ian Fitzner-Leblanc (Halifax, NS), then won 7-3 against James Grattan (Saint John, NB) in their final qualifying round match.

Dacey earned 2.500 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Curl Atlantic Championship, moving up 9 spots the World Ranking Standings into 60th place overall with 14.725 total points. Dacey ranks 29th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 2.500 points earned so far this season.
