Casey are currently 2-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Casey lost 6-5 to Stevens, then responded with a 7-5 win over James Grattan (Saint John, NB). Casey won 12-4 against Jamie Newson (Charlottetown, PEI). In their next game, Casey plays.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Curl Atlantic Championship, Casey take home 3.500 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN prize, moving up 3 spots the World Ranking Standings into 26th place overall with 39.836 total points.
