Adam Casey (Charlottetown, PEI) qualified for the 2014 Gibson's Cashspiel playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 8-2 against Chad Stevens (Halifax, NS).

Casey finished 3-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Casey defeated Adam Cocks (Chester, NS) 7-0, then won 6-4 against Robert Mayhew (Wolfville, NS). Casey went on to lose 9-8 against Kevin Saccary (Halifax, NS). Casey lost 8-7 to Peter Burgess (Halifax, NS) where Casey responded with a 8-4 win over Richard Barker (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.

Casey earned 0.750 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Gibson's Cashspiel, remaining in 20th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 65.586 total points. Casey ranks 7th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 29.250 points earned so far this season.
