Casey Scheidegger (Lethbridge, AB) won 7-2 over Brett Barber (Biggar, SK) in the Final of the Medicine Hat Charity Classic, held October 17 - 20, 2014 at the Medicine Hat Curling Club in Medicine Hat, Canada. Advancing directly to the semifinals, Scheidegger won 8-4 over Lana Vey (Regina, SK) to advance to the championship game. of the 2014 Medicine Hat Charity Classic in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada; of the 2014 Medicine Hat Charity Classic in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada;
 
Scheidegger finished 3-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Scheidegger defeated Karynn Flory (Edmonton, AB) 1-0, then won 8-2 against Tanilla Doyle (Calgary, AB) and 6-3 against Vey in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Medicine Hat Charity Classic Championship title, Scheidegger earned 5.500 world rankings points along with the $4,500CDN first prize cheque, moving up 3 spots the World Ranking Standings into 31st place overall with 33.091 total points. Scheidegger ranks 31st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 10.990 points earned so far this season.
