Menard responded with a 7-1 win over Ian Fitzner-Leblanc (Halifax, NS). Menard won 7-4 against John Epping (Toronto, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Challenge Chateau Cartier de Gatineau, Menard take home 25.000 world rankings points along with the $7,500CDN prize, remaining in 17th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 104.615 total points. Menard ranks 17th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 35.375 points earned so far this season.
