Adam Casey (Charlottetown, PEI) qualified for the 2014 Challenge Chateau Cartier de Gatineau playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 5-1 against Don Bowser (Kingston, ON). of the 2014 Challenge Chateau Cartier de Gatineau in Buckingham, Quebec, Canada;

Casey finished 5-2 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Casey defeated Mike Jakubo (Sudbury, NONT) 5-4, then won 8-7 against Ian Fitzner-Leblanc (Halifax, NS). Casey went on to lose 7-3 against Bowser. Casey responded with a 5-4 win over David Murdoch (Stirling, SCO). Casey went on to lose 6-5 against Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL). Casey responded with a 6-2 win over Mark Kean (Stoney Creek, ON). Casey won 7-4 against Michael Fournier (Montreal, QC) in their final qualifying round match.

Casey earned 15.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Challenge Chateau Cartier de Gatineau, moving up 4 spots the World Ranking Standings into 18th place overall with 80.586 total points.
