Jeff Hartung (Langenburg, SK) qualified for the 2014 Whites Drug Store Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 5-1 against Clint Dieno (Saskatoon, SK).  
 
Hartung finished 3-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hartung defeated Steen Sigurdson (Winnipeg, MB) 6-1, then won 5-4 against Brent Scales (Swan River, MB). Hartung went on to lose 6-4 against Dieno. Hartung lost 7-6 to Kevin Marsh (Saskatoon, SK) where Hartung responded with a 6-2 win over Josh Heidt (Kerrobert, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Hartung earned 3.210 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Whites Drug Store Classic, remaining in 57th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 26.600 total points. Hartung ranks 53rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 8.210 points earned so far this season.
