To advance to the championship game, Alberta's Aaron Sluchinski won 8-4 over Darren Grierson (Airdrie, AB) in the semifinals of the 2014 McKee Homes Fall Curling Classic in Airdrie, Alberta, Canada; and won 6-3 over Robert Collins (Calgary, AB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2014 McKee Homes Fall Curling Classic in Airdrie, Alberta, Canada;
 
Alberta's Aaron Sluchinski finished 2-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Alberta's Aaron Sluchinski defeated Collins 9-8, then won 4-1 against Thomas Usselman (Calgary, AB). Alberta's Aaron Sluchinski went on to lose 6-3 against Culp in their final qualifying round match.
