To advance to the championship game, Gim won 7-4 over Nadine Chyz (Calgary, AB) in the semifinals of the 2014 Crestwood Ladies Fall Classic in Edmonton, Alberta; and won 4-3 over Sijia Liu (Harbin, CHN) in the quarterfinals. of the 2014 Crestwood Ladies Fall Classic in Edmonton, Alberta;
Gim finished 4-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gim defeated Tiffany Game (Edmonton, AB) 6-4, then won 5-4 against Cathy King (Edmonton, AB) and 7-4 against Alberta's Deanne Nichol. Gim won 5-3 against Korea's Suji Kim in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Crestwood Ladies Fall Classic Championship title, Gim earned 4.200 world rankings points along with the $2,500CDN first prize cheque, moving up 3 spots the World Ranking Standings into 27th place overall with 39.005 total points. Gim ranks 45th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 7.305 points earned so far this season.
