In their opening game, Hartung defeated Kelly Marnoch (Carberry, MB) 7-6, then won 5-2 against Justin Stanus (Winnipeg, MB) and 7-1 against Steve Irwin (Brandon, MB). Hartung went on to lose 6-5 against Randy Bryden (Regina, SK). Hartung lost 6-4 to Scott Bitz (Regina, SK) where Hartung responded with a 8-2 win over Kyle Foster (Winnipeg, MB). Hartung won 7-5 against Justin Richter (Beausejour, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

Hartung earned 1.275 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Dauphin Clinic Pharmacy Classic, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 56th place overall with 27.875 total points. Hartung ranks 57th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 9.485 points earned so far this season.
