To advance to the championship game, Dow won 9-3 over Jake Walker (Brampton, ON) in the semifinals of the 2014 Stroud Sleeman Cash Spiel in Innisfil, Ontario, Canada; and won 6-5 over Ontario's Jon St. Denis in the quarterfinals. of the 2014 Stroud Sleeman Cash Spiel in Innisfil, Ontario, Canada;
 
Dow finished 2-2 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dow lost 8-3 to McDonald, droppimg another game, 8-2 to Gary McCullough (Thornhill, ON) where Dow responded with a 10-3 win over Daryl Shane (Waterloo, ON). Dow won 6-4 against Ontario's Travis Belchior in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Stroud Sleeman Cash Spiel Championship title, Dow earned 2.500 world rankings points along with the $3,200CDN first prize cheque, moving up 27 spots the World Ranking Standings into 148th place overall with 5.606 total points. Dow ranks 66th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 4.375 points earned so far this season.
