Eve Muirhead (Stirling, SCO) won 5-4 over Sherry Middaugh (Coldwater, Ontario, ON) in the Final of the Colonial Square Ladies Classic, held November 7 - 10, 2014 at the Nutana Curling Club in Saskatoon, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Muirhead won 7-1 over Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI) in the semifinals of the 2014 Colonial Square Ladies Classic in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada; and won 5-4 over Kristy McDonald (Winnipeg, MB) in the quarterfinals.
 
Muirhead finished 3-0 in the 31-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Muirhead defeated Lana Vey (Regina, SK) 5-3, then won 6-4 against Heather Strong (St. John's, NL) and 6-4 against Sherry Anderson (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Colonial Square Ladies Classic Championship title, Muirhead earned 40.000 world rankings points along with the $12,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 3rd place overall with 264.157 total points. Muirhead ranks 7th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 77.785 points earned so far this season.
