Eriksson went on to lose 5-3 against Jiri Snitil (Prague, CZE). Eriksson responded with a 9-4 win over Rasmus Stjerne (Hvidovre, DEN). Eriksson went on to lose 8-6 against Peter de Cruz (Geneve, SUI). Eriksson responded with a 6-2 win over Kevin Koe (Edmonton, CAN). Eriksson won 11-4 against Yusuke Morozumi (Karuizawa, JPN), then won 6-5 against Rui Liu (Harbin, CHN) in their final qualifying round match.
