Eriksson went on to lose 8-6 against Peter de Cruz (Geneve, SUI). Eriksson responded with a 6-2 win over Kevin Koe (Edmonton, CAN). Eriksson won 11-4 against Yusuke Morozumi (Karuizawa, JPN), then won 6-5 against Rui Liu (Harbin, CHN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the World Curling Championship, Eriksson take home 35.000 world rankings points. Eriksson move up 4 spots after posting a net gain of 31.1 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 15th overall with 172.801 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
