Scott finished 3-0 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Scott defeated Kelly Shimizu (Richmond, BC) 5-4, then won 5-4 against Patti Knezevic (Prince George, BC) and 7-4 against Amy Gibson (Vancouver, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
