Dangerfield finished 3-1 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dangerfield defeated Grant Dezura (Maple Ridge, BC) 5-3, then won 6-2 against Andrew Forrest (Vancouver, BC). Dangerfield went on to lose 8-2 against Dean Joanisse (New Westminster, BC). Dangerfield responded with a 7-2 win over MacAllan Guy (Seattle, WA) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Coronation Business Group Mens Classic Championship title, Dangerfield earned 2.500 world rankings points along with the $2,500CDN first prize cheque, moving up 193 spots the World Ranking Standings into 205th place overall with 2.500 total points. Dangerfield ranks 116th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 2.500 points earned so far this season.
