Michel finished 6-4 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Michel lost 8-3 to Marc Pfister (Bern, SUI), then responded with a 6-3 win over Christian Moser (Uitikon, SUI). Michel won 7-2 against Pascal Hess (Zug, SUI). Michel went on to lose 6-2 against Mario Freiberger (Zug, SUI). Michel lost 9-8 to de Cruz where Michel responded with a 4-2 win over Pfister. Michel won 7-6 against Moser, then won 7-5 against Hess and 7-4 against Freiberger. Michel went on to lose 9-6 against de Cruz in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Swiss Curling League Finals, Michel take home 5.000 world rankings points. For week 30 of the event schedule, Michel did not improve upon their best events, remaining at 11th place on the World Ranking Standings with 219.940 total points. Michel ranks 10th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 129.430 points earned so far this season.
