Spatola finished 7-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Spatola defeated Gabrielle Coleman (Seattle, WA) 12-2, then won 7-3 against Amy Lou Anderson (St. Paul, MN) and 9-2 against Caitlin Maroldo (Rochester, NY). Spatola won 12-4 against Alexandra Carlson (Wayzata, MN), then won 9-2 against Courtney George (Duluth, MN). Spatola went on to lose 6-4 against Cassie Potter (St. Paul, MN). Spatola responded with a 9-2 win over Sarah Anderson (Philadelphia, PA). Spatola went on to lose 9-8 against Pottinger. Spatola responded with a 8-6 win over Abigayle Lindgren (Grand Forks, ND) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the USA National Championship Championship title, Spatola earned 22.500 world rankings points. For week 30 of the event schedule, Spatola did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Spatola ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
