Ocean Smart (Vermillon, AB) finished 3-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Smart defeated Kaitlyn Sherrer (Red Deer, AB) 6-2, then went on to lose 7-3 against Krysta Hilker (Edmonton, AB). Smart responded with a 6-4 win over Karynn Flory (Edmonton, AB). Smart won 7-6 against Sarah Brown (Camrose, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
