Grattan won 7-4 against New Brunswick's Shaun Mott. Grattan went on to lose 6-4 against New Brunswick's Wayne Tallon. Grattan responded with a 9-5 win over New Brunswick's Paul Dobson. Grattan won 6-5 against New Brunswick's Marc LeCocq in their final qualifying round match.
