Morris finished 4-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Morris defeated Mark Longworth (Vernon, BC) 9-3, then won 8-1 against Montgomery and 7-2 against Brent Pierce (New Westminster, BC). Morris won 6-5 against Neil Dangerfield (Victoria, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the CDI BC Provincial Championship Championship title, Morris earned 9.680 world rankings points, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 9th place overall with 229.893 total points.
