Bonot went on to lose 7-4 against Dan Lemieux (Sault Ste Marie, ON). Bonot lost 8-1 to Robbie Gordon (Sudbury, NONT) where Bonot responded with a 6-5 win over Gelinas in their final qualifying round match.
