To advance to the championship game, Jahr won 9-4 over Alexander Baumann (Fuessen, GER) in the semifinals of the 2014 German Championships in Hamburgh, Germany;

Jahr finished 4-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jahr defeated Marc Muskatewitz (Baden Hills, GER) 8-3, then won 5-4 against Baumann and 6-4 against Kampf. Jahr won 8-1 against Muskatewitz. Jahr went on to lose 5-4 against Baumann. Jahr lost 9-7 to Kampf in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the German Championships Championship title, Jahr earned 4.000 world rankings points, moving up 6 spots the World Ranking Standings into 48th place overall with 36.445 total points. Jahr ranks 49th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 18.705 points earned so far this season.
