In their opening game, Christensen defeated Courtney Osbakken (Two Harbors, MN) 11-1, then won 10-4 against Kaitlin Fowler (Fairbanks, AK) and 11-6 against Jenna Haag (Milton, WI). Christensen won 10-3 against Abigayle Lindgren (Grand Forks, ND). Christensen went on to lose 9-6 against Anderson. Christensen responded with a 9-5 win over Shelby Sweet (Everett, WA). Christensen won 10-2 against Melissa Runing (Mankato, MN), then won 7-4 against Christine McMakin (North Potomac, MD) and 7-4 against Sidney Schroeder (Midland, MI) in their final qualifying round match.
