Nicole Baldwin (Whitehorse, YK) 7-6, then went on to lose 7-4 against Kerry Galusha (Yellowknife, NT). Koltun responded with a 6-5 win over Baldwin. Koltun won 11-1 against Melba Mitchell (Inuvik, NT), then won 7-5 against Galusha and 12-1 against Mitchell in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the NWT-Yukon Scotties Championship title, Koltun earned 4.000 world rankings points, moving up 34 spots the World Ranking Standings into 103rd place overall with 7.898 total points. Koltun ranks 79th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 5.560 points earned so far this season.
