In their opening game, Baldwin lost 7-6 to Sarah Koltun (Whitehorse, YK), then responded with a 12-2 win over Melba Mitchell (Inuvik, NT). Baldwin went on to lose 6-5 against Koltun. Baldwin lost 10-6 to Kerry Galusha (Yellowknife, NT) where Baldwin responded with a 11-5 win over Mitchell. Baldwin went on to lose 10-8 against Galusha in their final qualifying round match.

Baldwin earned 2.000 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 61 spots the World Ranking Standings into 168th place overall with 2.000 total points. Baldwin ranks 136th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 2.000 points earned so far this season.
