Flaxey won 9-3 against Cathy Auld (Toronto, ON), then won 9-1 against Julie Reddick (Toronto, ON) and 9-0 against Sherry Middaugh (Coldwater, ON). Flaxey won 7-2 against Hastings. Flaxey went on to lose 8-7 against Kendra Lilly (North Bay, ON). Flaxey responded with a 11-3 win over Dawna Premo (Sault Ste Marie, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
