Hastings finished 7-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hastings defeated Kendra Lilly (North Bay, ON) 7-6, then went on to lose 8-5 against Cathy Auld (Toronto, ON). Hastings responded with a 7-6 win over Sherry Middaugh (Coldwater, ON). Hastings won 7-5 against Hollie Nicol (Toronto, ON), then won 4-3 against Tracy Horgan (Sudbury, ON) and 9-6 against Ashley Kallos (Thunder Bay, ON). Hastings went on to lose 7-2 against Flaxey. Hastings responded with a 10-2 win over Dawna Premo (Sault Ste Marie, ON). Hastings won 8-4 against Julie Reddick (Toronto, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Ontario Scotties, Hastings take home 7.550 world rankings points, moving up 5 spots the World Ranking Standings into 36th place overall with 45.618 total points. Hastings ranks 23rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 38.635 points earned so far this season.
