Meaghan Brezden (Winnipeg, MB) won 8-2 over Kristy Watling (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the Manitoba Canola Juniors, held December 26 - 31, 2013 in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba.
 
Brezden finished 5-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brezden defeated Hanne Jensen (Dauphin, MB) 8-1, then went on to lose 8-4 against Heather Maxted (Teulon, MB). Brezden responded with a 9-4 win over Kylee Calvert (Carberry, MB). Brezden went on to lose 8-3 against Ashley Groff (Carman, MB). Brezden responded with a 5-3 win over Beth Peterson (Winnipeg, MB). Brezden won 7-2 against Watling, then won 7-3 against Rachel Burtnyk (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
