Braden Calvert (Winnipeg, MB) won 6-1 over Matt Dunstone (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the Manitoba Canola Juniors, held December 26 - 31, 2013 in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba.
 
Calvert finished 5-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Calvert defeated Sean Davidson (Portage la Prairie, MB) 7-3, then won 7-3 against Tyler Grumpelt (Brandon, MB) and 7-2 against Austin Mustard (Portage la Prairie, MB). Calvert won 9-4 against Myles Hicks (The Pas, MB). Calvert went on to lose 10-7 against JT Ryan (Winnipeg, MB). Calvert lost 6-3 to Dunstone where Calvert responded with a 5-3 win over Ty Dilello (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
