In their opening game, Hanson defeated Brooke Tokarz (Saskatoon, SK) 6-3, then won 8-7 against Kaitlin Corbin (Moose Jaw, SK) and 6-5 against Courtney Orsen (Saskatoon, SK). Hanson won 8-6 against Danielle Bertsch (Saskatoon, SK), then won 10-6 against Allyson Grywacheski (Naicam, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
