MacKay lost 7-4 to Veronica Smith (Cornwall, PEI) where MacKay responded with a 6-1 win over Meghan Ching (Cornwall, PEI). MacKay went on to lose 6-4 against Lauren Moerike (Charlottetown, PEI) in their final qualifying round match.
