Vevers won 9-5 against Gail Munro (Stranraer, SCO), then won 9-5 against Kerry Barr (Edinburgh, SCO). Vevers went on to lose 8-7 against Aitken. Vevers lost 8-3 to Martin. Vevers lost 9-8 to Fleming where Vevers responded with a 9-1 win over Marshall. Vevers went on to lose 6-5 against Munro. Vevers responded with a 6-3 win over Barr in their final qualifying round match.
