Suzanne Birt (Charlottetown, PEI) lost 7-4 to Heather Smith-Dacey (Halifax, NS) in the Final of the Curl Atlantic Championship, held September 12 - 15, 2013 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. To advance to the championship game, Birt won 8-7 over Stacie Devereaux (S. John's, NL) in the semifinals of the 2013 Curl Atlantic Championship in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island;

Birt finished 4-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Birt defeated Beth Hamilton (St. John's, NL) 8-4, then won 9-5 against Melissa Adams (Grand Falls, NB) and 5-4 against Sylvie Robichaud (Moncton, NB). Birt won 7-6 against Shelley Nichols (St. John's, NL). Birt went on to lose 6-5 against Smith-Dacey in their final qualifying round match.
